Clothing Export

The economic development report of the apparel industry from 1 to September in 2007 released by the national development and Reform Commission showed that in the first three quarters of this year, China's garment industry showed a "steady and slightly rising" trend under the influence of RMB appreciation, export tax rebate adjustment, continuous rising cost and "quality crisis of China made manufacturing".

According to customs statistics, in the first three quarters of this year, China completed a cumulative total of $85 billion 572 million in clothing and accessories exports, up 22.97%, and the growth rate fell.

From the perspective of the type of export enterprises, the export growth of private enterprises has increased rapidly and the proportion has been increasing.

The export share of other enterprises, including state-owned import and export companies, collective enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises, has declined.
