The Ninth Li Kong Cup Small Reporter Photo Contest

The Ninth "Ricoh Cup" jointly organized by the Communist Youth League Central China Youth Digest magazine and Ricoh digital camera is the launching ceremony of the Chinese small reporter photography invitational tournament held in Shenyang in September 9th.

The event has been held for nine consecutive years, spanning ten years.

So far, photography has been the longest running event with the largest number of entries.

In the past 10 years, about 400000 children and adolescents have participated in this activity. 620 small journalists have won gold, silver and bronze medals, and 430 photographers have won the organization award.

In 25 cities across the country, we have named more than 40 "Ricoh photography schools" or "Ricoh photography classroom". The aim is to help Ricoh photography schools in the cities with better conditions, so that they can help the Ricoh photography classroom in rural schools to carry out photography popularization activities, so as to enrich and improve the content and quality of rural children's amateur cultural life.

In addition, the organizing committee has launched more than 100 children's photo "one day snapshots" activities in 55 cities and counties nationwide, making a large number of "Chinese small journalists" active in all parts of the country.

They use their own vision, their feelings, their own discoveries, their own inspiration, to seize the moment to show the world in their eyes.

Before the start of the day's snapshot in Shenyang, Mr. Zhang Zhigang, a photographer of the China Youth Daily, gave them a lecture on how to do a good job as a photojournalist.

The deputy editor in chief of the publishing house made a review of the first eight Li Guang cups and introduced the ninth activities.

Subsequently, the small journalists began their snapping activities.

During the world flower expo in Shenyang, World Expo is also a daily visitor. The 10 day is teachers' day, and Shenyang has another Tourism Festival. In the morning, there is a flower parade in Shenyang's main street. These activities provide abundant information for the small journalists.

On the afternoon of 10, the organizing committee will collect and select the captured works.

The judges selected the selected works and then reported to you that the judges were made up of experts from the China Photographers Association, including Lv Houmin, Hou Bo, Wang Wenlan and so on.

The event was supported by the Shenyang League Committee, the Photographers Association, the relevant schools, the literary Union and the Shenyang evening news. We all appreciated the activities of Ricoh and insisted on it for so many years.

"Ricoh Cup" I am a China small reporter national children photography competition. It has become an indispensable event for children who love photography every year.

The young photography enthusiasts in Shenyang were the first to participate in this competition. Its activities not only stimulated the amateur cultural life of the vast majority of children, but also enabled them to have extensive social contact and feel the nature, and to experience the joy of quality education in practice.
