The Second "Shengzhou Tie Cup" National Silk Clothing Design Competition

Sponsored by the China Silk Association, the "Shengzhou tie Cup" 2010 national silk dress design competition, which was named by the Shengzhou Municipal People's Government of Zhejiang Province, held a media meeting in Beijing.

The theme of this competition is "New Silk Road", aiming at improving the design level and innovation ability of silk products in China.

Recently, the "2010 tie Cup" national silk clothing design competition, sponsored by the China Silk Association and the Shengzhou people's Government of Zhejiang Province, held a media meeting in Beijing, Shengzhou.

This is the second national silk dress design competition sponsored by the China Silk Association after 2008.

The theme of this competition is "New Silk Road", which aims to enhance the design level and innovation ability of Chinese silk products, explore and cultivate silk design talents, enhance the influence of China's silk brands, and promote the further development of China's cocoon and silk industry with the effect of industrial agglomeration.

This silk clothing design competition has continued the scale of the previous session, and continues to take the form of pre regional preliminaries and national finals.

The professional designers of major domestic silk production enterprises and teachers and students of textile and clothing colleges can participate in the competition.

According to the Organizing Committee of the competition, the silk clothing design competition, supported by the National Cocoon and silk coordination office, the China Fashion Color Association and the China clothing association, has invited famous domestic fashion designers, well-known professors from professional colleges and universities, and timely and authoritative experts in the silk industry to form an appraisal Committee.

There are 1 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, 5 outstanding prizes, and 5 individual awards: the best creative award, the best fabric Innovation Award, the best costume matching award, the best craft award and the most market potential award. This will fully examine the contestants' understanding and application level of silk characteristics, and show the design standard of domestic silk products.

The finalists will be given the opportunity to make dynamic display in Beijing. The leaders of the silk industry will attend the finals and inspect and select reserve talents.

All entries will have the opportunity to be publicizing, publishing and displaying by the organizers. The winning works of the finals will be collected by the Shengzhou Municipal People's government.
