Yao Yongchun said that over the years, Changsha and Germany have frequent trade contacts. In the first quarter of this year, the total value of Changsha's import and export reached 140 million US dollars, up 65.7% over the same period last year.
Last year, Changsha exported $106 million of fireworks, firecrackers, textiles and clothing to Germany, and imported 320 million dollars from Germany, including cars and chassis.
Ms. Christine Kasting said that Hannover is an important pportation hub for Germany, and its business, tourism and exhibition industry is very developed.
Although it is the first time to grow, the hospitality of the people of Changsha has impressed her deeply, hoping to learn Changsha's valuable experience in developing the social economy and pforming the urban community, and further strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanges in trade and other fields.
