The microchip made a cloak of invisibility, making the plot of Harry, Potter and other science fiction into reality.

The research report is published in the recently published journal of Applied Physics Letters.

When light comes to the surface of the object, it happens.

And enter the naked eye so that people can see the corresponding objects.

But researchers from Michigan Technological University have discovered a way to trap infrared rays, enabling infrared rays to bend around objects, thus achieving stealth of objects.

Once the visible light is bent through this technology, the objects covered by it will disappear from people's eyes.

The nonmetallic cloak, developed by Professor Elena Simogina, uses the same glass resonators which are made of vulcanized glass and do not conduct electricity.

In computer simulation, the "cloak" enables the object to be stealthy at the wavelength of about one micron.

This is the first attempt by scientists to use glass materials to achieve the bending of light.

Professor Sai Mo Kim Aa's "cloak of invisibility" uses metamaterials, which are made of artificial materials and have extraordinary characteristics which are not possessed by natural materials.

This metamaterial is made up of micro glass resonators, not composed of atoms or molecules of natural materials. It is an interdisciplinary research product of materials science and electronic engineering.

The miniature resonant plates are arranged in the form of concentric rings, forming a shape similar to that of a cylinder.

A magnetic resonance is generated in the concentric ring to achieve the bending of the light around the object and finally achieve the stealth of the object.

The research team is currently conducting further tests to detect cloaking effects from ceramic resonances and metal cloaks at microwave frequencies.

Scientists carried out experiments in the Michigan Technological University's anechoic laboratory: This is a caves like structure, which is covered with deep gray foam cones with high sound absorption function and equipped with antennas for microwave pmission or reception.

The wavelength of microwave is far greater than that of infrared, and its wavelength can reach several centimeters.

The researchers said: "from these experiments, we will further study the cloak's stealth effect at higher frequencies and smaller wavelengths.

The most anticipated thing is to achieve stealth at visible frequencies.

If more progress can be made, the invisibility cloak will enter the daily life prediction in 30 years.

2010 Ten Prediction Of China'S Professional Market Of Spinning And Clothing

The course of 30 years of China's professional market is basically centered on the core mode of "wholesale". For a long time, it will inevitably show its disadvantages and weakness. With the pformation of China's "exogenous industrialization", China's professional market will also carry out the readjustment of "export class power and investment level power", thus promoting the pformation of specialized market to "endogenous market oriented".
