Reporters learned from the relevant departments, in order to support enterprises to carry out eco textile certification, enhance the competitiveness of our textile and garment export enterprises, this year eco textile certification of qualified export enterprises can receive certain subsidies.

With the implementation of the ATC agreement and the development of trade liberalization, the traditional trade barriers have been gradually weakened. The trade barriers, represented by "green barriers", have become the largest non-tariff barriers to trade.

"In recent years, EU countries have issued a series of environmental laws and regulations, implementing safety testing, limiting the export of textiles by restricting the sale and circulation of non ecological textiles in the market, which has great impact on our export enterprises."

Shishi, a business executive, said: "whether consumers in Europe, the United States or Japan are harmful to the human body is the primary factor in whether to buy Textiles.

Therefore, some experts predict that ecological textile and clothing will dominate the future international textile and clothing trade market.

How to deal with this trend has become the first consideration for Shishi enterprises to export to the western market.

This issue has also attracted the attention of the government.

In order to enhance the competitiveness of textile and garment export enterprises, effectively cope with the international green trade barriers and help enterprises to improve their management level and value-added products, our bureau of foreign trade and trade has recently issued a policy to grant funds to enterprises that have obtained Intertek ecological product certification.

The office will also hold a seminar with the Quanzhou and Shishi economic and trade departments to invite Intertek experts to introduce the latest development of green barriers for international textile and clothing trade for relevant enterprises, and introduce in detail the practice of Intertek eco product certification, such as the technical requirements and application procedures.

The relevant officials of the Municipal Bureau of economic affairs stressed that encouraging and supporting enterprises to actively apply for the certification of ecological products of the international third party authority is one of the key tasks of the provincial and municipal economic and trade departments this year.

Due to the fact that there is no uniform ecological standard for textiles and clothing at present, relatively speaking, the current laws, regulations, standards and labels of various labels, as well as the acceptance criteria of buyers, are mainly concentrated on the developed countries represented by the European Union. Their influence on the international trade of textiles and clothing is enormous and has been widely recognized.

Intertek, as an international business inspection body, can provide legal compliance for all enterprises.

In other words, getting the certification means that it will be possible for the product to be unimpeded in the western market.
