British Chinese Designer London Fashion Week

Martha, a Chinese designer in the United Kingdom, launched the 2011 spring summer fashion series entitled "icebreaker" on 19 London Fashion week.

This is the highest fashion show in Britain. It is also one of the four fashion shows in the world.

Martha, 27, from Beijing, went to England to study in 2001. He earned his master's degree in the Saint Martin School of London Fashion Department and worked as an intern at the late international fashion master makun.

As a new star in the British fashion world, she created the "capsule" series for the Chinese celebration of the 60th anniversary celebration of new China in 2009. The red evening dress made the Chinese and foreign guests stunning.

The icebreaker fashion show presented by Martha on the 19 day combines the nostalgic elegance and the surrealistic futurism, fully exposing the unique characteristics of modern women.

She said, as a designer from China, she will not directly apply Chinese elements to the design, but rather embody the concept of Chinese elements with the characteristics of simplicity.

Li Zhenju, the chairman of the British Chinese political participation program at the fashion show, said that Martha has made proud achievements in the British fashion industry with his talents and efforts, hoping to inspire more young Chinese to boldly innovate in different fields and show their talents.

She said that the Chinese people in the UK have been focusing on the catering industry. Martha's breakthrough in the fashion industry proves that the new generation of Chinese is constantly challenging the old threshold and developing new businesses in the mainstream society.
