A Japanese company has unveiled the mystery of a new high-tech mechanical garment, which can help users walk, and is undoubtedly a blessing for the elderly and disabled people who are losing their ability to walk independently, according to a British report.

The new mechanical clothing, named HAL, is an abbreviation for mixed auxiliary limbs, which is controlled by computer and installed.

A sensor

Sensors can read brain signals and guide body movements through the skin.

The HAL service will be rented to all sectors of Japan from this week, with a monthly rent of 1260.

This invention brings far-reaching benefits to the disabled and the elderly.

The computer system weighs 22 pounds (about 10 kilograms), is driven by batteries, and is tied to the waist of the user. After capturing the brain signal, it will pmit it to the mechanical support tied to the knees and legs to provide help when the user walks.

Cyberdyne, a new company located near Tsukuba, Tokyo, Japan, will produce HAL garments in batches.

Cyberdyne two staff showed this smart clothing to reporters at the company headquarters in October 7th.

A video also showed that a paralyzed man rose from a wheelchair and walked slowly in HAL suit.

Amami Kanou, President of Cyberdyne company, said: "we are ready to offer HAL clothing as a gift to the whole world."

Shan Hai Jia has been engaged in mechanical clothing research since 1992.

According to him, they are designing a complete device covering the whole body. It is not yet clear when the device will be on sale.

HAL clothing has three sizes: small, medium and large. The monthly fee for the single leg is 150 thousand yen (839 pounds).

Noel Aki, a professor at University of Sheffield in England, is a robotics expert who has not participated in the study of HAL services. Noel Sharkey.

Mr Sha said that HAL clothing would benefit the elderly with impaired mobility.

He said: "HAL clothing will enhance the mobility of the elderly, so that they do not have to take longer care."

Cyberdyne said they would not disclose the specific cost of producing the device.

In addition, it is not clear when the HAL service will be on sale.

Today, robotics has been widely used in manufacturing, but people's concerns about the reliability of product performance limit their popularity in daily life.

Amami Kanou said HAL technology focused on social welfare only, and he had rejected requests from the military to share the technology.

Amami Kanou also revealed that some European countries are very interested in HAL clothing. The high-tech equipment may soon be put on shelves in these countries, but the time of sale in the United States has not yet been determined.

Researchers at University of California at Berkeley and around the world are developing mechanical clothing for increasing their mobility.

The company will lease HAL services to the elderly in Japan and welfare agencies for the disabled.

The company plans to rent 500 units next year.

Japan is a country with a rapidly aging population. How to take care of the elderly is widely seen as an ever bigger challenge in Japan.

Big sum housing construction industry is a well-known real estate developer in Japan. They are expanding their business to recuperation services.

A director of the company said: "our attitude towards new business will be very prudent, but we want to take practical action to help you."
