The Secretary General of the union of Democratic Workers' Union of Kampuchea (CCAWDU) reported that they had disclosed their plans to the government and the garment industry representatives to help the union workers, who were temporarily suspended until the court jurors judged the legality of union workers' strike.


The Ministry of social affairs has asked CCAWDU to give them some time to solve these problems before the union strikes workers.

The Ministry also asked workers to abide by the company's rules and regulations, and the state's labor law, to stop inciting workers to take part in the strike.
