The international high performance coating conference, jointly sponsored by NanoKTN and CEMMNT, will be held in London, England in November 30th.

Representatives from equipment manufacturers, instrumentation companies and new film coatings researchers from various fields will attend the seminar as guests.

The conference will focus on the solutions to various problems in the implementation of the coating project and explore the opportunities and challenges facing the coating industry in the UK.

Apart from the content of the seminar, the conference also has special exhibition links.

Alistair Kean, the technical director from Mantis Deposition, will demonstrate the high performance structural application of nano coatings.

In addition, Alistair Kean will also introduce new developments in SOLAMON and other R & D projects.

It is understood that SOLAMON is one of the projects funded by the European Union's Seventh Research Framework (EU FP7). The purpose is to test the application of plasma photopolymerization to enhance the efficiency of thin film solar cells.

Material Science

Robert Bowman, a professor of physics, will introduce and recommend an advanced material coating and metrology research equipment ANSIN from Queen Belfast university to the participants.

It will also discuss how ANSIN can bridge the gap between the University's research facilities and the demand for advanced coatings.

"Coating material is an important part of the industrial production process, and its performance can affect the quality control level of the whole production process," said Dr. James Johnstone, project manager of NanoKTN.

At present, coating materials with new technology and technology are attracting more and more attention in industrial production.

James Johnstone said that at this session, the exhibition of nanometers and its applications involved various aspects of nanotechnology. NanoKTN organized such activities aimed at supporting the development of nanotechnology and film coatings industry.

It is reported that the participating agencies include the Windsor Scientific company in the United Kingdom, the Oxford instruments plasma technology company, the National Physics Laboratory (NPL) in the United Kingdom, Loughborough University, University of Manchester and University of Oxford.
