The National Textiles Association of China came to the mainland in July 20th.

The commission must determine whether the number of products imported from the mainland of China has increased substantially, so that it may or may interfere with the market and damage the US industry.

If the Commission determines that the import products cause interference and damage, it will recommend remedial measures, and the president can decide whether to implement them.

In the complaint that has been withdrawn, the National Textile Association advocates a 125% tariff on the chenille furniture and 75% tariffs for other fabrics involved.

The International Trade Commission of the United States shall make preliminary decisions within 60 days after receiving the complaint and recommend remedial measures.

The case will then be submitted to the office of the United States trade representative for further discussion and recommendations. The office must be completed within 55 days after receiving the recommendations of the Committee.

The president will make a final decision within 15 days after receiving the proposal from the trade representative, and the president can follow the advice of the trade representative or decide not to take any measures.
