New flower shipping has been started in the northern part of Punjab province and Sindh province, and more ginning plants have been put into processing.

If the weather continues to dry, seed cotton purchase will continue to increase, and is expected to reach the peak in October.

With the acceleration of the acquisition process, seed cotton prices have gone down.

The price of high-grade seed cotton is about 2600-2800 rupees /40 kg (according to today's Pakistan rupee RMB exchange rate 1:0.0728 calculation, fold 2.37-2.55 yuan / Jin), low grade cotton is at 188-2500 rupees /40 kg (1.64-2.28 yuan / Jin), spreads widened further.

The domestic market continued to slump due to the gradual increase of new flower listing and the sharp fall in ICE cotton.

Low grade cotton is hard to attract buyers' attention and price is suppressed; the price of high-grade cotton is relatively stable.

Textile mills are still purchasing a small quantity of cotton, mainly with high-grade cotton, while domestic exporters are on the sidelines.

The delivery price of high grade cotton ginning plant in Sindh province and Punjab province is 6900-7100 rupees /maund, which is 95.75-98.50 cents / pound, and the low grade cotton is about 6000-6800 rupee /maund, the gap is widening further.

Yesterday, the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) made an official quotation of 7300 rupees /maund for 2011/12 grade III cotton (length: 1-1/16, micron value: 3.8-4.9NCL).
