Pakistan Indonesia Sign Preferential Trade Agreement

After 7 rounds of negotiations, Pakistan and Indonesia finally signed bilateral agreements.

The agreement will be effective from January 2012.

Mahmoud, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, said that the signing of the agreement helped increase Pakistan's export to Indonesia, the largest economy in Southeast Asia, and also indicated that the Palestinian government's wish to shift its export market focus to Asia.
