Anna Emmerson, a farmer from New Zealand, won the year's challenge cup award with a package of 10.6 micron fineness of the high grade Merino wool from its Lindis Ridges farm.

In this competition, the Pyrenees Park farm operator Pamela and Robert Sandlant sent the wool fineness of the competition to 11.1 microns, which was the best wool produced in Australia before.
