The industry believes that the implementation of the standard will effectively regulate the production behavior of enterprises, improve the overall quality level of products, and promote the healthy development of the industry.

In the third quarter of 2014, the Shandong provincial quality and Technical Supervision Bureau sampled 78 batches of student clothing products produced by 78 enterprises in the province, of which 15 batches of 15 batches of products did not meet the requirements of relevant standards.

According to the requirements of the basic safety technical specification for national textile products and GB/T22854-2009 knitted student clothes, this sampling inspection was conducted on 18 items of clothing products: fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye, color fastness to washing, color fastness to water, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to light, color fastness, odor, marking, light fastness, sweat, color fastness, bursting strength, strength of trousers after crotch seam, size change rate of water washing, slippage, pilling and washing, and distortion rate after washing. The test was conducted in accordance with the requirements of GB18401-2010.
