The exhibition ushered in 1337 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions. The total exhibition area was 92000 square meters. Among them, the international exhibition area was 37000 square meters, and the internationalization effect continued to enlarge.

The leather industry's economic performance report recently released by China Leather Association shows that under the double pressure of international and domestic economic situation, China's leather industry has maintained a stable development trend in the first half of this year.

In the 1-6 month of 2014, China's leather industry was exported by US $39 billion 720 million, an increase of 5.7% over the same period last year, and the growth rate dropped by 6.6 percentage points. Imports of US $4 billion 450 million, an increase of 12.1% over the same period last year, has accelerated by 6.2 percentage points.

The import growth of the whole industry is significant, and exports are obviously blocked.

In the 1-6 month of this year, the number of leather industry enterprises with a sales income of more than 20 million yuan was 7736, and the sales revenue reached 587 billion 379 million yuan, up 10.40% from the same period last year, but the growth rate dropped 0.7 percentage points.

Su Chaoying, chairman of the China Leather Association, believes that China's leather industry will still be promising as the global economy gets warmer.
