Pakistan Tannery Association Appealed For Special Electricity Price To Enhance Competitiveness

The Pakistan tanneries Association (PTA) asked the government to provide special tariffs for export industries to maintain Pakistan's share in the export market.

Last week, at the seminar on leather industry held by local enterprises in Botswana, Dr. Chandra Babu, a leading scientist from the India central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), revealed that according to Botswana's production capacity, 10 thousand jobs could be created to meet the local demand for leather and create a total export revenue of $150 million for the country.
