The academic forum was held in Wuhan. More than 240 experts and scholars from 20 textile colleges and universities in three places attended the seminar.

This forum is sponsored by Wuhan Textile University, with the theme of "green textile and innovative life".

We should exchange and discuss the latest research achievements and research progress in textile science and industry, and exchange, discuss and cooperate.

The chairman of the forum and Lin Jiahong, a distinguished professor of Taiwan Feng Jia University, said that the exchange of young students and scholars and cultivation of talents should be strengthened.

Yao Mu, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, said that China's textile industry currently has problems such as labor costs, pportation costs and environmental management costs. Resources innovation and green production should be carried out with special emphasis on technological innovation.

She suggested that the government should introduce preferential policies and regulations, and cooperate with scientific research institutions to break through the technical difficulties. Consumers should pay attention and support to the three party to promote the development of the industry.

Since 2010, the Academic Forum on Cross Straits and Hongkong textile has made many achievements in promoting the development of textile industry, personnel training, teacher visits, student exchanges, and scientific and technological progress in three places.
