Punish counterfeit currencies in accordance with the law.

Article 1 counterfeiting counterfeit money and posing as a genuine currency should be identified as the counterfeit currency stipulated in the 170th provision of the criminal law.

The act of cutting, sticking, uncovering, correcting, shifting, reprinting, and changing the true form and value of real money should be regarded as the "altered currency" stipulated in the 173rd provision of the criminal law.

The second act of counterfeiting and altering means to make counterfeit money and counterfeiting money is also convicted and punished in accordance with the 170th provision of the criminal law.

Third counterfeit currency crimes targeting foreign currencies in circulation are convicted and punished according to the provisions of articles 170th to 173rd of the criminal law.

The amount of counterfeit foreign currency crime is calculated according to the intermediate price of the RMB issued by the China foreign exchange trading center or the people's Bank of China authorized by the authorized authority of the people's Bank of China on the date of issue.

The foreign currency issued by the China foreign exchange trading center or the people's Bank of China's authorized body has not published the intermediate price of the exchange rate, and is converted into Renminbi according to the intermediate price of the RMB by the domestic bank's RMB on that day, or the intermediate price of the currency in the domestic bank and international foreign exchange market against the US dollar and the RMB to us dollar exchange rate.

The fourth crime of counterfeit currency, which is issued by the people's Bank of China in respect of ordinary commemorative coins and precious metal commemorative coins, is convicted and punished according to the provisions of articles 170th to 173rd of the criminal law.

The amount of the crime of counterfeit ordinary commemorative coins is calculated in terms of denomination; the amount of the crime of counterfeit precious metal commemorative coins is calculated at the initial selling price of the precious metal commemorative coins.

The fifth is to forgery the currency that is stopped using the purpose of forgery, or to use counterfeit money to stop circulation. It is convicted and punished according to the 266th provision of the criminal law.

The sixth judicial interpretation previously issued is inconsistent with this interpretation.
